Ultrasonic wash

FinnSonic ultrasonic cleaning tanks provide a precise and pervasive cleaning effect featuring Ultrasonic Boost, Sweep and Degas technologies as standard. The unique Booster function provides extra power for challenging contamination, whereby the Frequency sweep eliminates dead spots and ensures a uniform washing result.

JET washversa___

Jet wash tanks, with a strong spray under immersion action, are available for items not compatible with ultrasonic cleaning, e.g. sensitive components, or generally when immersed cleaning with flow is preferred. Jet tanks are also an excellent method for pre-cleaning heavy contamination before ultrasonic treatment or for agitating the first rinse stage. Besides the usual water based chemicals, JET tanks are also specified to be compatible with AIII class solvents as standard.

SonicJet wash

For components with complex geometry and internal channels, FinnSonic offers a unique SonicJet tank that combines both ultrasonic agitation and spray under immersion in one unit. SonicJet tanks have a special process control that optimizes the cleaning result by using both ultrasonic and JET technology to remove and flush away contamination.

Rinse

Detergent and particle residues are removed from the component's surface by rinsing. More effective rinsing can be provided by adding (optional) timer controlled air bubble agitation. Spotless, stain free rinsing results are achieved with demineralised water.

Dryultrasonic_tank_versa_

Recirculating hot air dryers with powerful fans and heating are available for effective drying of the load. Dryers are equipped with an ergonomic sliding lid and ample thermal insulation all round to minimize the energy consumption. The flow path for the air has been carefully designed for effective drying in shortest possible time.

Novel construction

  • The orientation of the Versa+ treatment tanks and dryers is designed to minimize the total length of multistage lines and save valuable floor space.
  • With multistage systems the tank and dryer modules are delivered assembled for ease of handling. These systems can be easily split into smaller sections with standard tools if need be.
  • Thanks to bonded transducers, indirect heating, basket supports above liquid level and proprietary level switches, the inside of the treatment tanks are completely clean. This minimizes the liquid volume and unnecessary immersed material in the tank, ensuring all ultrasonic energy is utilized for the washing. No particle traps means the tank is easier to keep clean, which eventually improves the cleanliness result.
  • All treatment tanks are equipped with an overflow weir enabling removal of floating contamination and oil as well as connecting with optional storage tanks.
  • A raised lip on the upper surface of the unit, preventing excess drips, is a standard feature on all Versa+ units resulting in a cleaner working environment and improved safety.

Sophisticated control system

The modern V03 control system features:

  • 7-day timer for automatic liquid pre-heating and fluid handling.
  • 3 memory slots for every day settings, eliminate the need for daily re-programming.
  • External control interface for easy integration with production cells.
  • FinnSonic control bus interface for easy integration with automatic basket transporters.

 

Options for treatment tanks
  • Basket dunking systems, with 20 kg capacity, maximize the exposure to ultrasonic treatment as well versa_parts_cleaning_line_as results in a flow inside and around cleaned parts, transporting contamination away and providing better cleanliness faster.
  • Effective fluid handling systems for particle filtration, oil removal and closed rinse water circulation can be attached to treatment and storage tanks, for longest bath life.
  • Rim lip ventilation for treatment tanks contribute to comfortable working environment as well as health and safety, by enabling ventilation of fumes, moisture and heat.
  • Wash baskets are compatible with both manual operation as well as PTM30 Easy Lift or TD automatic transporters. Rotating baskets are also available with a plastic or stainless steel construction.
  • Alternative level sensor options against dry run provide compatibility with a wide range of wash liquids. Optional safety thermostats add to this versatility by enabling use of AIII class flammable wash liquids.
