“We’ve now delivered 20 projects similar to this for aviation industry customers around the world. In terms of its scope, the project we’ve just delivered is the largest we’ve worked on by far”, says Sales Manager at FinnSonic, Olli-Pekka Arhosuo. The project took into consideration the needs of the engine manufacturer and the requirements stipulated for the latest engine types used by the leading aviation operators. Intended for use in wide-bodied planes, the latest engine type to be worked on in the repair facility will only become commercially available in 2020.
“In recent years, the aviation industry has become a major part of our business operations. Our customers really value FinnSonic’s ability to deliver functional and safe solutions for both cleaning and inspecting aircraft components under the same roof. Automation process management and data collection are also highly important for our customers, as these guarantee that aviation standards are adhered to”, notes FinnSonic’s CEO, Vesa Nurminen.
